10-4-11

Yesterday I clocked the mileage of a mile and a half loop in our neighborhood. After I took T & B to school, I took E in the stroller and walked that loop. I hope to improve on my time, considering it took me almost 30 minutes to walk a mile and a half. Although I wasn't taking just a leisurely stroll, I also didn't speed walk the whole time either. I much prefer to run since I get shin splints when I walk for exercise, but at this time, I will have to stick with walking until I get a few more pounds off.

  1. I think I've lost about 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Not as much as I would have hoped, but I am exercising diligently and laying off the chocolate!
    The last couple of days Clark has come jogging with me and and I'm eating his dust. How did he get in such great shape? I guess it's the football.

  3. 5K? Shoot.. We're going to do a half marathon!!! Dare I even suggest a full marathon? No, I won't go there yet!

  4. I would love to run a half or full marathon with you. I used to have a goal that I wanted to run a marathon before I turned 25 (back in my skinny, running days). I guess I'll have to adjust that goal to running a marathon before I turn 40.
